it mindfully. Do it well. Enjoy the satisfaction. Then go on to the next thing.
Multitasking might work for computers, but humans have yet to get the hang of
it. It leads to careless mistakes, shoddy work, accidents, and unreliable performance.
Worst of all, having to do things over. This is no way to live. Give what you're
doing your undivided focus. Take the time to get it right. And savor the experience.
Why make yourself crazy?
Previous Stress Tip Are you uncomfortable with calmness? As hard as it is to get rid of stress, when we finally do, it sometimes makes us uneasy! Why? Because many see a composed person as unambitious, slacking off, apathetic. If you aren't hyped up and frazzled, you couldn't possibly be doing a good job. So we feel that pressure to look busy and overwhelmed. That's how twisted our society's thinking has become. Don't give in to it. Stick to your stress-free demeanor. When they see how efficient and productive you are, it'll dawn on them there's a better way. And you can remain comfortable in your calm proficiency. Why make yourself crazy?
