wait till the last frantic minute to pick out your clothes, do needed ironing,
set the breakfast table, shine your shoes, prepare the kids' lunches, and gather
what you'll need for work? Take 15 or 20 minutes and do it this evening, when
you're calm, unhurried and less likely to err or forget. You'll not only sleep
better knowing you're ready, you'll spare yourself a lot of excess stress in the
morning. Do it tonight. Why make yourself crazy? Today's Health Headlines Previous Stress Tip Don't be reluctant to take a contrary position. Most conflicts, driven by pride, are unnecessary and avoidable. Those who recognize this can generally glide through life without the snags and entanglements many people get hung up on. But there are times when you simply have to take a stand, when silence or inaction will eat away at your peace of mind, or worse, your ability to function normally. In such cases take action, speak up, make your disapproval known. And don't fear being branded a dissident, especially if you rarely dissent.
