Maybe you're the type of person who, when things are going great, begins to fret some unforeseen calamity will come along and spoil it. Or-when someone doesn't arrive on time, or something doesn't happen on schedule-you immediately think the worst case scenario. Or maybe there's always some fear and worry lurking in the back of your mind. Whatever the case, think of the thousands of times your worrying has proven unwarranted. The overwhelming odds are, this time will have a happy ending, too. Relax, enjoy your life, and for crying out loud stop worrying. Why make yourself crazy?

The problem is, it further defines your weaknesses. And real strength comes when you work on those. For one, it takes more than a little honesty to admit we've got them in the first place. And a lot of courage to meet them head on. (If it was easy, they wouldn't be weaknesses.) Think hard. Identify your frailties. Then proceed to shore them up. You'll become a more complete, balanced and respected person. And will improve in areas that used to hold you back. Why make yourself crazy?
