your regularly scheduled cleaning by spending a short time each day neatening
your home. Use those few minutes to clear a cluttered surface, tidy a child's
room, clean out a drawer, throw out a useless item or two, dust a long-forgotten
place, put something away...or whatever obvious need is staring you in the face.
You'll be amazed at how much this small attention to neatness can accomplish over
time. And how organized and productive you'll become. And when you do get around
to more intense cleaning, the job will be that much easier. Take ten minutes a
day to tidy up. Why make yourself crazy?

Avoid these barriers to good communication: rushing your words to the point where they lose their meaning or effectiveness; talking around a problem rather than getting to the point; unnecessarily repeating yourself or saying far more than you need to. Instead, choose your words carefully, take the time to express yourself clearly and distinctly, and speak with directness and honesty. If another tries to step on your words, or steer you in another direction, calmly hold your ground until your point is made. You listen to others. It's only right they listen to you. Why make yourself crazy?
